Useful Information

Rosliston School is a member of the family of Church of England schools, catering for the educational needs of children from 4 to 11 in a caring, family atmosphere. Pupils are admitted to our Reception class in the September of the year in which they are 5. There are currently 95 pupils on roll, from the immediate village and from the wider surrounding area. The pupils are split into 4 classes as follows: Reception (Foundation Stage); Infants (Y1 & Y2); Lower Juniors (Y3 & Y4) and Upper Juniors (Y5 & Y6) The school buildings date back over a hundred years, although they have been extensively altered and modernised. The school also has its own large playing field within the village and a piece of land next door to school for outdoor learning. The school underwent an OfSTED inspection in January 2016. You can download the report here, or use the link on the statutory information page to visit the OfSTED website
