Rosliston Reception Class of 2020

So here it is... our last week of Reception! Where does time go?

Firstly, Thank you for being total superstars for the whole year, especially these past few months, I know it has been very different being away from all of your friends!

I have really enjoyed this year together, we have had so much fun and made friends and memories that I am sure we will all keep.

Mrs Hall is really looking forward to you moving through to year one. I have told her how fabulous you all are, make sure you go in with a bang and don't let me down!

I am going to really miss the Rosliston Family, but you will ALL have a super special place in my heart as my first school, especially you big ones in year 3 (My first EVER class).
Keep being the friendly, happy, confident children I know and you will all go so far!

Have an Amazing summer with your families, stay safe, make memories and take lots of photos!

Here you will find our pages to support you with Home Learning. Activities will be uploaded each week. If you have any trouble or need any support please don't hesitate to contact Mrs Yates using the contact form below.

On the 'Weekly Overviews' page, you will find all of the weekly plans which outline the activities suggested for the week, including Maths, Phonics, Literacy and Wider Curriculum lessons. Plans from previous weeks will be left online for future reference.

On the 'Subject Resources' page, you will find all of the resources needed to complete the daily activities. Not all activities have resources uploaded to go alongside them. We understand the difficulty of printing resources at home, please do not feel you have to print out any of the resources, where possible we will provide online resources or children are welcome to use their purple 'homework' books or any other paper you have to copy, write, colour and draw in/on!

On the 'Useful Websites and Resources' page, you will find supplementary websites, links and resources to support with extra activities (which are also available on the general 'Class Pages' page for all pupils across the school).

We have two teachers in Reception Mrs Yates and Mrs Sutton.
We are also supported by Miss Gaunt and Mrs Foster. We currently have Miss Smith with us who is completing her teaching placement from the University of Derby.

We work closely together to ensure children have a positive and happy start to their

school life which will create the foundation for all of their future learning.

Our learning experiences are led by the children's interests and needs,

Children need to be engaged in their learning for them to learn!
