Below are some links for your information about the schemes we follow within Beavers. There are some useful parent guides to explain why we use them and to give you a bit more guidance on what your child learns in school.
Phonics
Within Reception and year 1 we are following the All Aboard Phonics scheme, which is a DfE-validated set of systematic synthetic phonics (SSP) resources, designed to make teaching phonics easier, more fun and consistently successful within the classroom.
We are currently in the process of setting up usernames and logins for the class, so that you can access useful resources at home on the All Aboard app to help aid children's learning.
Information for parents about All Aboard Phonics
Within Year 2 we are following the spelling shed for our phonics this year. It includes lots of great resources which will push the children with their spelling and dictation. Please click on the link for more information.
Reception information
All Reception children will complete their baseline assessments within the first 6 weeks of school with Miss Twells, to see what children already know or can do when they start their Reception year at school and this is nothing to worry about.

Maths
In Reception, Year 1 and Year 2 we follow The White Rose Maths scheme of learning.
