Secondary Schools
Here, you will find transition information and updates, provided by our local secondary schools.
We tend to send our pupils to: The Pingle Academy, Blessed Robert Sutton, Mercia Academy (formerly William Allitt), John Taylor High School, John Taylor Free School, Granville and Paulet. We will support all of pupils with their secondary school transition, whichever school you choose!
We can provide support and guidance on which secondary school we feel will suit your child, but our best advice is to visit them, get a feel for them and ask lots of questions.
We will allow all of our Year 6 pupils authorised leave from school to attend Open Days and transition opportunities. Please just let us know via the school office.

We work hard to prepare our pupils for the move to secondary school. We have close links with our local schools and offer lots of transition opportunities.
We cover moving-up to secondary school in our PSHE lessons, as well as during class discussions and transition opportunities, particularly in the summer term.
