Welcome to Rosliston Church of England Primary School!

We are a small, Church of England school situated in the heart of the pretty village of Rosliston in South Derbyshire.  We are proud of our long history in serving the local community since the school was first built in 1882, as well as welcoming pupils from further afield.

All schools have their own distinctive ‘feel’, which makes each one unique.  We believe that the special ‘feel’ at Rosliston CE Primary is thanks to our bespoke approach, where individuality is celebrated and all are made welcome in a caring environment, that recognises and promotes the core Christian values of Respect, Friendship, Creativity, Honesty, Thankfulness and Hope.

I am extremely proud to lead a team that is committed to providing the very best opportunities for the children who attend Rosliston CE Primary School.  The staff, supported closely by our governors, work hard to deliver a rich and challenging curriculum that prepares children for future education and helps them to acquire the knowledge, skills and enthusiasm needed to pursue learning for the rest of their lives.

We hope that you enjoy looking at our website and learning all about our school and the people who make up our community.  If there is anything that you can't find out about on these pages then please don't hesitate to get in touch either at, or by telephone - 01283 761409.
