Welcome! Thank you for considering Rosliston CE Primary School for your child. We’re so excited to welcome you to our school, for you to have a look around, to meet the team and ask any questions you have related to the start of your little one’s learning journey. Please see the information below for our upcoming Open Evenings (for Reception 2025). 

We’re keen for families to visit during an open evening but you’re also more than welcome to come and see us during a school day, to really get the feel for our special, little school! We have lots of places available in our Reception cohort for 2025.

You are welcome to call us to arrange a visit at an alternative time too. We will happily show prospective parents/carers around our school during the school day, as it's really important you get a 'feel' for the school in action!

If your child was born between 1 September 2020 and 31 August 2021 they will eligible to start school in September 2025. You should apply for their infant / primary school place by 15 January 2025. You will be able to make your application from 9am on 11 November 2024. 

You can apply online (www.derbyshire.gov.uk/admissions).

You still need to apply for a place for your child, even if you already have a child/children at our school.

As a voluntary controlled school, Derbyshire County Council manages our admissions process and appeals.
