What a brilliant week we've had this week in Badgers! This week was British Science week and we have all been engineering our own designs for the 'If you were an engineer, what would you do?' competition. We've been finding out about the job of an engineer - and how many different types of engineering there are! Today we ended the week wearing red to raise money for Comic Relief. We are looking forward to continuing our work on engineering next week when we welcome an engineer into school to help us become rail engineers!

Here are a few photos to give a flavour of what we’ve been up to. Keep an eye out for our new friend, our class mascot who arrived this week too!

What a fantastic start to the term! This week we launched our new topic, ‘Who Let the Gods Out?’. We read the first chapter of the book by the same name and looked at what we can learn about the Ancient Greeks from Greek pottery. In Science, we learnt about the digestive system, naming the organs of the digestive system and their functions. In Maths, we have been measuring, converting and comparing length. On Wednesday, we welcomed Stedy, who led our first basketball session of the term. He’ll be joining us every week for 6 weeks and we can’t wait to practise our skills again next week!
