Rev. Derek Arnold | Hello, my name is Derek Arnold and I have recently joined the Governing body and would like to give you an idea about who I am. After attending Art College, I began my working life as a Technical Illustrator. We then moved to Germany for 10 years where I worked in the latter part of my time as a Marketing Director. I then returned to Banbury, where I started my own company and remained there until I got the calling to be a priest in the Church of England.
I have 4 children, the youngest is 9 and my wife Amanda and I were Foster Carers for 10 years. Since joining the church, I have served on 6 School Governing Bodies and it has always been a pleasure and privilege to serve. If any of my past experiences prove useful to the school, I am happy to help. I believe that working in schools is a really important part of the church’s mission in the community. In my spare time I like to get a bit of exercise, spend time relaxing and enjoy a good cup of coffee. NO DECLARATIONS OF INTEREST | |

I have taught children from Reception to A-level and feel passionate about helping all children reach their individual potential. I am currently a manager at a fire protection company and I am also a qualified Forest Schools Practitioner. I am very much looking forward to being part of Team Rosliston!
