Welcome to Squirrels!

Mrs Yates is our Class Teacher, she is supported closely by Ms Foster. 

We are really lucky at Rosliston to have a dedicated class for our Early years learning, we have a fantastic close knit team of staff who support the children day to day. We also work very closely with the KS1 team, Miss Twells to ensure future transitions into year 1 and 2 are seamless. 

Reception is very child led, with focus activities planned around children's needs and interests, we are very hands on and love spending time in our outdoors area! We are also very lucky to have Rosliston Forestry Centre on our doorstep meaning we are able to get out and explore the local area regularly too!

We love to share our learning with parents and carers which is why we use Tapestry, this way contact can be consistent between home and school meaning we are able to share all those important wow' moments with one another!
